Up-date on convergence space raid

The raid on the convergence space at 627 Smith Avenue is being carried out by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department, not the St. Paul Police. The sheriff's department is overseen by the Ramsey County Commissioners, not the mayor of St. Paul or the St. Paul City Council.

About a dozen Saint Paul police have surrounded the area around the convergence space. A young man was escorted out and is currently sitting on the corner of Smith & King with plastic handcuffs.
