Report from Seeds of Peace kitchen: No raid

Just got a call from an Indy reporter at the Seeds of Peace kitchen, who says there has been no raid.
Police paraded around the Seeds of Peace kitchen several times, then parked down the block, making people think a raid was imminent. Then a black SUV pulled up, circled around. In the last half hour the police seem to have left the Seeds of peace kitchen.

Welcome to Minnesota: Out of town activists pulled over by police at gunpoint

-----Cross-posted from www.rhubarbarism.com------------

A van full of activists from Texas was pulled over on Lake st. and 11th ave. in Minneapolis by police with drawn shotguns on Saturday afternoon.

Police ordered them out of the van at gunpoint, where they were handcuffed and searched on the busy sidewalk across the street from a dollar store, said Estaban, one of the detained activists. They didn't search the van.

They were released after between 15 to 20 minutes, an observer said.

Pigs from the Southwest Heading to St. Paul

Here's an article from one of AZ's major news media services about Phoenix, Mesa, and Tucson police coming to assist St Paul PD for the RNC. It says that Phoenix police are looking at this as a possible 'learning experience' - this is especially interesting since PHX put in a bid for 2012 DNC. Lets plan that there won't be one.

I'm from the area - sorry to hear our trigger happy police are headed that way. Hope everyone stays safe.

Palin is Perfect Match 4 John "Drill here & NOW!" McCain

Sarah Palin is certainly not the 'naive and innocent' Alaskan village mayor as many in corporate media claim her to be. She is very much like John "Big Driller" McCain in many ways, savvy with the corporate sponsors and willing to sell workers and the ecosystem down the river to satisfy the interests of big oil and mining corporations.

When John McCain says, "Drill NOW! Drill HERE! DRILL EVERYWHERE! VROOM! VROOM!" it seems that Ms. Sarah Palin is the perfect woman for this job..
